Your compassion means no one has to recover from the trauma of surviving a home fire alone. You are helping to provide:

  • Disaster Case Management - Replacing all your belongings, dealing with insurance adjusters, reissuing missing documents, negotiating with landlords, and trying to find new housing can become a full time job no one ever wanted. Our case workers provide answers, resources, and guidance on next steps.

  • Trauma recovery support - Losing everything you own in a matter of minutes is a traumatic experience. Our social workers provide individual and group therapy, allowing survivors to heal from the emotional pain.

  • Community Outreach - When there is a large scale disaster like an apartment fire, our team shows up onsite to distribute undies and bras, answer questions, and provide guidance on next steps.
