Get Help

We know it’s overwhelming, and no-one ever plans to have a disaster. That’s why we’ve created these resources to help get you started on your road to recovery.

All services are provided at no cost to disaster survivors.

Our Services

  • OFP provides free and new bras, underwear, and socks for disaster survivors out of our Denver office. Click Contact Us to make an appointment.

  • OFP provides personalized assistance to disaster survivors, guiding them through the complexities of the recovery process. This includes assistance with understanding insurance claims, homeowner’s and renter’s advocacy, and accessing basic needs resources like clothes, food, and household items.

  • OFP offers specialized and individualized therapy services, free of charge, to address trauma, stress, and PTSD experienced by fire survivors, with therapists trained to identify and manage triggers associated with disaster-related trauma.

  • The Community Crisis Response team is onsite after a large-scale apartment fire or disaster where many are displaced and typically a Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) is set up. New underwear and bras are distributed and immediate mental health and case management needs are assessed at the DAC. OFP then works with disaster survivors to transition them into long-term recovery and ensure they are fully integrated into our other programs. For this program, our salaried staff or volunteers come to the aid of fire survivors, and OFP acts as a go-to resource hub for fire survivors.
