Arapahoe County, CO — Our Front Porch is proud to announce it has received $18,984 in Aid to Agencies funding from Arapahoe County to support Disaster Case Management services for residents impacted by home fires and other disasters.
The funding was approved by the Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners as part of the County’s 2026 Aid to Agencies grant program, which provides critical investments to nonprofit organizations delivering essential services to county residents. This year’s program was highly competitive, with more than $6 million in requests submitted by 91 organizations, underscoring both the significant needs across the community and the importance of strong nonprofit–county partnerships.
“Our Front Porch is deeply grateful to Arapahoe County for recognizing the urgent and ongoing needs of disaster survivors,” said Margaret Babyak, Chief Executive Officer. “This investment allows us to continue providing personalized disaster case management helping individuals and families navigate recovery, stabilize their lives, and move forward after devastating events.”
Disaster Case Management services supported by this funding include individualized recovery planning, resource coordination, advocacy, and ongoing support to help survivors address housing instability, insurance challenges, documentation replacement, and emotional recovery following disaster events.
Arapahoe County’s Aid to Agencies program reflects the County’s commitment to strengthening community-based solutions and ensuring residents have access to compassionate, effective support during times of crisis. “Strong partnerships are the foundation of a resilient community,” said Board Chair Leslie Summey. “By working together with organizations like Our Front Porch, we can ensure that residents receive the support they need to recover and rebuild after disasters. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to helping families through their toughest times.”
“Our partnership with Arapahoe County is essential to our ability to serve residents when they need it most,” Babyak added. “We are honored to work alongside the County to support recovery, resilience, and long-term stability for our neighbors.”
