Module 5: Get Sleep!

And why it is so important

Your mental and emotional well-being deserve the same care and attention as the physical rebuilding process. Sleep is an important foundation to the recovery process. It helps your brain process the emotional impact of this trauma and supports healing over time. When you’re well rested, it becomes easier to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and cope with depressive symptoms throughout recovery. We understand that getting a good night's sleep may feel challenging right now. The good news is that there are practical steps you can start implementing to support better rest—and, in turn, your mental health.
